Having been raised in a musical family in the South of England, Benedict now composes from his home in Birmingham, UK. In October 2022, whilst finishing a master’s degree in composition at the University of Birmingham, Benedict was selected as the joint-winner of Vox Populi’s inaugural composition competition for his piece, Stars,  a recording of which can be found on the COMPOSITIONS page of this website. Benedict’s music has been performed in Europe and in the UK.
